Dragon Ball MOBA Launches With 4v4 Battles and Mostly Positive Buzz

Ana sayfa / News

Dragon Ball Gekishin Squadra, a free-to-play 4v4 MOBA, just landed on Steam, and it’s already heating up with over 13,000 concurrent players and a wave of “Mostly Positive” reviews.

Fans of the franchise are jumping into intense PvP matches, where 4v4 battles feature some of the most iconic faces in anime. The roster includes heavy-hitters like Goku, Vegeta, Gohan, Cell, Trunks, Caulifla, and Android 18 each assigned to one of three roles: Damage, Tank, or Technical.

The familiar three-lane structure and hero-based combat system won’t surprise veteran MOBA players, but the visual style and Dragon Ball polish help it stand apart.

RE Engine Resident Evil Games Could Be Headed Natively to Switch 2

RE Engine Resident Evil games are reportedly getting native Switch 2 ports, including Requiem, according to reliable leaker Dusk Golem.

At launch, Dragon Ball Gekishin Squadra offers three modes to keep things fresh:

Each match includes unique mechanics like the “Divine Draw” for randomized rules and “Divine Combo Cards” for temporary power boosts.

Being free-to-play, the game features cosmetic microtransactions: skins, emotes, finishers, and burst effects. But it also brings layered currency systems. Players can grind or pay for heroes using Dragon Gems or Unlock Tokens, while G-Capsules unlock loot boxes.

Currencies in the game include:

These can be earned through Battle Passes, though some users are keeping a close eye on the balance between grind and payment.

Early user reviews highlight the game’s tight mechanics and slick visuals. But not everything’s going Super Saiyan. Some players report server disconnects, crashes, login issues, and the usual MOBA annoyances like bots and AFK teammates. A few even claim cheaters are already spoiling matches.

Still, the excitement is hard to miss. Despite technical hiccups, Gekishin Squadra’s launch is off to a promising start. And if the devs stay on top of the rough edges, this Dragon Ball MOBA could go the distance.
