French luxury car manufacturer DS Automobiles is bringing the exciting look of its Formula E racing car directly to its showrooms. The company is opening orders for a special Limited Edition DS PERFORMANCE Line series for its three most popular models, the DS 3, N°4, and DS 7, starting December 1, 2025.
Racetrack Elegance Takes to the Road
These limited-edition vehicles immediately capture attention with their distinctive racing style. DS, which uses black and gold as its signature colors in Formula E, has incorporated this theme into its new models. Satin gold and gloss black accents are featured throughout the vehicle, including badges, lettering, side mirror caps, and wheel center caps.
The DS 3 features a satin gold ‘3’ badge on the rear tailgate, matching the gold center caps on the standard 17-inch OSLO alloy wheels. Inside, Alcantara covers the seats, dashboard, and door panels, creating a special sense of luxury.
The compact DS 3 is available in both the fully electric E-TENSE and HYBRID 145 versions. In France, the pure electric model starts at €43,200, while the hybrid version starts at €37,350.
The stylish N°4 stands out as the most flexible option. It is available with the fully electric E-TENSE, the self-charging HYBRID 145, the powerful PLUG-IN HYBRID 225, and a diesel version. The N°4 E-TENSE, with a range of up to 450 km and 213 horsepower, is priced at €48,190. The range-topping DS 7, available with a diesel engine in this trim level, starts at €52,650.
DS Automobiles has always been a pioneer in in-car technology, and this special edition raises the bar. The DS IRIS SYSTEM with connected navigation features an enhanced personal assistant with ChatGPT integration. This means the vehicle’s voice recognition system can instantly answer complex questions about current events, such as sports or international events, effectively becoming a knowledgeable co-pilot. This feature comes standard on the DS 3, N°4, and DS 7 series, which are already equipped with voice recognition.
The DS PERFORMANCE Line trim comes standard with a host of premium features that enhance both luxury and safety. All models feature comprehensive parking assistance, including front and rear sensors and a 360-degree camera system, as well as Blind Spot Monitoring for safer lane changes. The front seats are heated, and the driver gets an auto-dimming frameless interior rearview mirror. DS 7 buyers also get DS DRIVE ASSIST and a hands-free power tailgate for added comfort.
To celebrate this launch, a new color, Cashmere, is being added to the DS 3 limited edition series. N°4 and DS 7 will also have their own unique color options. Buyers in France will be able to see and test these limited-edition models in all DS STORES from January 2026.
