After 20 impacts, only minor scratches appeared on the Vision Pro windshield
The YouTube channel AppleTrack conducted a durability test for the Vision Pro. During the test, the device was first tested for its resistance to scuffs. Sam Kohl, who performed the test, noticed only minor scratches on the front glass of the device after 20 impact attempts.
Kohl first carried out drop tests, first from a height of about one and a half meters, then from a height of 2 and 2 and a half meters, respectively, onto a wooden floor. Only the outer glass shattered as a result of the tests. However, the inner screen, all sensors and cameras remained intact. Kohl said the Vision Pro endurance test results were “astonishing”.
