The Dying Light series is returning with a new game that will leave fans breathless: Dying Light: The Beast. Techland made the announcement at the famous Gamescom event in Cologne, Germany. While the release date for this new game on PS, Xbox, and PC has not yet been revealed, here’s what we can expect from the new installment:
Dying Light: The Beast Revealed: Free for Ultimate Edition Owners
Dying Light: The Beast brings back the beloved character Kyle Crane, who has endured brutal experiments for years but has finally managed to escape that hellish existence. However, this time Crane will be on a more significant mission in the new world he encounters, rather than seeking revenge. The new game masterfully incorporates both his internal struggles and the external dangers of the world.
This standalone adventure takes players back to the zombie-infested city, but things are more complicated than ever. The game’s promotional video suggests it will offer a visually stunning experience. As we face deadly threats at every corner, we will use weapons and abilities unlike any we’ve seen before to battle zombie hordes.
Another exciting piece of news is that the game will be available for free to those who own the Ultimate Edition of Dying Light 2. If you purchased the Ultimate Edition of Dying Light 2, you’ll be able to play this new game without any additional cost. Techland has made a significant gesture to its loyal fan base with this move.
Dying Light: The Beast is already available for wishlist on Steam and the Epic Games Store. If you don’t want to miss out, make sure to add it to your wishlist. What do you think? Feel free to share your thoughts in the comments below.
