Following the end of the agreement between FIFA and EA Sports, the first football game developed by EA will be EA Sports FC 24. Developed with the Frostbite engine and expected to offer similar gameplay to FIFA 23, the first trailer has arrived. Although it doesn’t show any gameplay, it does reveal who the cover stars will be.
First trailer of EA Sports FC 24
The first football game developed without a FIFA licence is finally getting ready for its official release. The new trailer released by EA revealed what we can expect from the game. Real Madrid’s Vinicius Junior and Manchester City’s Erling Haaland can be seen in the trailer.
In addition to the first trailer, the Ultimate Edition cover has also been released. The cover features more than 30 famous players including Erling Haaland, Pele, Ronaldinho and Andrea Pirlo. This shows that legendary footballers will be involved in the new edition.
One of the ongoing questions about the game has been whether the team and uniforms would be licensed. We can see that all the players in the trailer are wearing licensed kits. However, it should be noted that EA may have bought the rights to certain leagues or teams.
The launch of EA Sports FC 24 will take place on 13th July via YouTube. We expect to see gameplay, teams, game modes and most importantly Ultimate Team.
According to leaked information, EA FC 24 will be available in two versions, Standard and Ultimate. The football game, which is expected to be available for pre-order on 29 September, will come with a $10 price increase compared to previous years. Accordingly, the Standard Edition will be sold for $69.99.
