Following the termination of the agreement between FIFA and EA, FIFA 23 is the last licensed game in the series. However, EA Sports will continue to produce football games under its own brand. The logo, release date and price of the new production, which will be called EA Sports FC 24, have been leaked.
EA Sports FC 24 will reportedly release on 29 September
New information has emerged from the development phase of EA FC 24, which will be the first production in the EA Sports FC series. Recent leaks have provided new information on the game’s pricing and pre-order details.
According to the leaked information, EA FC 24 will be offered in two versions, Standard and Ultimate. The football game, which is expected to be available for pre-order on 29 September, will come with a $10 increase compared to previous years. Accordingly, the EA Sports FC 24 Standard Edition will be sold for $69.99.
It’s not surprising that the game is being released in September. In the past, FIFA-licensed football titles have been released in the autumn. EA Sports seems to be continuing this tradition.
Interestingly, it has been claimed that EA will support older generation consoles in addition to the PS5 and Xbox Series X/S. Accordingly, the prices will be as follows, depending on the console:
- EA FC 24 Standard Edition: $69.99
- EA FC 24 Ultimate Edition: €99.99
- EA FC 24 Standard Edition (PS4 – Xbox One): $69.99
- EA FC 24 Standard Edition (PS5 – Xbox Series X/S): $79.99
The leaked information does not include the bonuses that will be offered with the pre-order. However, they are expected to be similar to those offered with FIFA 23. Previous versions of the series have included bonuses such as Ultimate Team Points and special player items.
