On Monday, a 7.8-magnitude earthquake occured in the south-eastern region of Türkiye. The cities, including Kahramanmaraş, Diyarbakır, Hatay, Adana, Adıyaman, Kayseri, Gaziantep, and four more cities, are affected and devastated. Two major earthquakes in Türkiye
People woke up due to a 7.7-magnitude earthquake at 04.17. The other earthquake was 7.6-magnitude at 13.24. While these earthquakes occurred in Kahramanmaraş, they also affected and devastated Diyarbakır, Adana, Osmaniye, Malatya, Gaziantep, Kilis, Adıyaman, Şanlıurfa, and Hatay. People are getting help and sending them to the earthquake zone.
In the first hours of the earthquake, the Turkish Ministry of Health announced the humanitarian emergency response. Now, several countries send help, search, and rescue teams to the area. World Health Organization Regional Director for Europe announced that it is a Level 3 emergency, which is the highest level.
