Digital Extremes unveiled Soulframe, a free-to-play fantasy-action MMORPG, at TennoCon 2023 this past weekend. A 30-minute gameplay video was also released. So what does Soulframe promise?
What is Soulframe, how to play?
Warframe, the legendary action-shooter of consoles and computers, has come to the agenda again with a series of updates. It was stated that the game will debut on iOS and will receive an update called Warframe 1999. In addition to this, the developer of Warframe also introduced Soulframe, a new MMORPG game.
Soulframe is set in an open world called Midrath Island. The gameplay video shows the forests, hazy environment and sun-drenched landscapes. After exploring the map, the video discusses Soulframe’s melee combat and nature-based magic system.
The game will also feature dungeons that change throughout the day. Players will navigate an underground city where they can fight enemies, hide, or utilize environmental hazards. Dungeons will also feature souls with ability modifiers.
Soulframe’s RPG system is also seen in the video. According to the video, there will be three play styles, Spirit, Grace and Courage. Players will be able to switch between classes and change their character as they wish.
No details were given about the release date of Soulframe free-to-play. There was also no announcement about the game’s language support, but the official website has Turkish support. This is an indication that it will support Turkish.
