ElevenLabs, which develops voice-focused artificial intelligence technologies, has reinforced its claim in the sector with the new generation voice assistant platform Conversational AI 2.0. The company, which introduced its first version only four months ago, has announced its new version equipped with much more advanced features this time. The platform targets corporate usage areas such as customer service, call centers, marketing and sales.

New generation voice assistants can establish human-like dialogues and understand when to answer and when to listen during a conversation. This turn-taking system can analyze human conversational dynamics such as interrupting, waiting and hesitation.
Conversational AI 2.0 also has a structure that facilitates multilingual communication. It can instantly detect the language spoken by the user and respond in that language. This real-time automatic language detection technology provides critical convenience for companies operating internationally.
ElevenLabs’ new platform also integrates the Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) system, enabling artificial intelligence to respond with real-time data access. Thanks to this system, for example, an assistant integrated into a hospital’s information system can provide information to the patient in accordance with institution-specific treatment protocols.
Another prominent feature of Conversational AI 2.0 is its multi-character support. The platform can create different character voices and personalities through a single artificial intelligence model. In this way, the user can manage different roles in a training simulation, for example, through a single system.
