xAI has released a new AI model called Grok-1, which it claims outperforms ChatGPT in several areas. Company CEO Elon Musk said that xAI wants to help humanity with this artificial intelligence.
The most important advantage of Grok compared to other models is that it can collect real-time information about the world through information and data available on Twitter. This allows Grok to learn more about current events than chatbots without access to social media and the internet.
Grok was evaluated in various academic tests in math and coding. Accordingly, it achieved better results than ChatGPT 3.5, but failed to beat the GPT-4 model. xAI emphasizes that Grok was trained with significantly less data and resources.
The company described Grok as a “very early beta product that will evolve rapidly” for now. In the first phase, it will only be available to X Premium Plus subscribers in the US. The price of this subscription in our country starts from 300 TL per month.
Musk and xAI stated that they aim to advance artificial intelligence by benefiting humanity. He also said that security measures will be implemented over time to prevent the malicious use of Grok.
