CEO Elon Musk, who made a statement on this subject in the past weeks, said that the robot will be presented with a working prototype version within the scope of Tesla AI Day on September 30. Recently, Musk made new explanations for the humanoid robot. Stating once again that the robot is designed to perform repetitive boring and dangerous tasks, Musk stated that Tesla Bot can carry heavy objects and walk quickly with small steps.
For now, Tesla Bot, which is generally planned for factory sites, is also aimed to enter homes in the future. Musk says the robot can also take on tasks such as cooking, mowing the lawn, and caring for the elderly. Stating that many talented people are working on Tesla Bot and the company is constantly expanding the staff on this side, Musk states that the robot is built on advanced artificial intelligence systems and weighs 60 kg.
Musk also made a lot of noise with his statement that “Tesla humanoid robot can develop a unique personality”. What Musk meant here was that not every robot will be the same. It is also stated that Tesla Bot will develop personality depending on its owner and will be a friend in addition to basic tasks.
According to Musk, one of the biggest risks for the future is the low and rapidly decreasing birth rate. The famous CEO states that there are not enough people to work with and believes that the humanoid robot Tesla Bot will fill the gap that will arise in the future. Musk even says: “If people don’t start having more children, civilization will collapse.”
