Tesla CEO Elon Musk’s manifesto for the future of the company, which he called the “Big Plan,” suddenly disappeared from Tesla’s official website. This manifesto consisted of a series of plans in which Musk detailed Tesla’s roadmap and goals in the electric vehicle world. So where did it suddenly disappear to and what does it have to do with Trump? Details in our news…
Elon Musk’s big electric vehicle plan removed from Tesla’s website! Is it because of Oil supporter Trump?
The first two parts of Musk’s “Big Plan” were published in 2006 and 2016. The first part explained that Tesla would develop more affordable electric vehicles with the income it would earn by producing a luxury sports car. The second part stated that Tesla would invest in energy storage systems and solar energy .
However, these two sections are currently not available on Tesla’s website. The oldest blog post on the website dates back to 2019. Interestingly, this removal coincides with Elon Musk’s growing closeness to former US President Donald Trump . Trump is a major supporter of the US oil industry and plans to remove government subsidies for electric vehicles.
Trump’s stance contradicts Musk’s sustainable energy goals for Tesla . Interestingly, Musk has stated that Tesla does not need electric vehicle subsidies, and that he is in line with Trump on this issue .
Musk argued in a conversation with Trump that it was wrong to criticize the oil and gas industry . He noted that the economy is dependent on the oil and gas industry and that a sudden shutdown of these sectors could lead to an economic collapse . These comments led Musk to describe his stance on energy as “moderate.”
The third part of Musk’s “Big Plan,” released in 2023, detailed Tesla’s goals to accelerate the global transition to sustainable energy. The part is still available on Tesla’s website.
