Samsung is planning to hold a Galaxy Unpacked event in July, where they will announce several new products in addition to the Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Z Flip 5. Among these products is the new Galaxy Tab S9 series. It is said that the series will include five models: Galaxy Tab S9 FE, Galaxy Tab S9 FE+, Galaxy Tab S9, Galaxy Tab S9+, and Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra.
Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 series leaks and rumors
The initial information that surfaced on Twitter revealed that there will be two more models in the new series, namely the S9 FE and S9 FE+. These devices are expected to be more affordable and cater to the entry-level to mid-range tablet market. However, it has been reported that the production of the Galaxy Tab S9 FE has been delayed and it may not be available for sale until October.
The leaked specifications of the new models indicate that the Galaxy Tab S9 series will feature a Dynamic AMOLED 2X display. It is expected that the Galaxy Tab S9 will have an 11-inch screen and an 8,400mAh battery, while the Galaxy Tab S9+ will have a 12.4-inch screen and a 10,900mAh battery. The most powerful model, the Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra, will offer a 14.6-inch display and an 11,200mAh battery.
The Galaxy Tab S9 series is likely to have an in-display fingerprint sensor and dual SIM support. Additionally, the tablets will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset. Each model will have different RAM and storage capacities, but it has been reported that the Tab S9 Ultra will come with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.
In terms of cameras, the Galaxy Tab S9 is said to feature a 13-megapixel rear camera and a 12-megapixel front camera. The Galaxy Tab S9+ will include a dual camera setup with a 13-megapixel main sensor and an 8-megapixel secondary sensor. Furthermore, it is expected that the Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra will have a 12-megapixel selfie camera.
The color options for the Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 series have also been leaked. It is expected that the Tab S9, S9+, and S9 Ultra will be available in Beige and Gray variants. The S9 FE and S9 FE+, on the other hand, will cater to a wider range with color options such as Gray, Light Green, Light Pink, and Silver.
