Team FOLON, an independent studio, is bringing the Fallout London mod to life. The mod will take players 50 years before the events of Fallout 4 to the post-apocalyptic atmosphere of London. Fallout London’s release date was previously set for April 23rd, but was delayed due to Fallout 4’s next-gen update.
The mod places great emphasis on realism and melee combat. It’s also notable for its voice cast, which includes famous names like Baldur’s Gate 3’s Neil Newborn, Doctor Who’s Colin Baker and Sylvester McCoy. Team FOLON announced the mod’s release date on their Discord channel and project manager Dean Carter confirmed that the mod will be playable tomorrow.
Team FOLON had announced the release of the mod as of last week and stated that GOG had approved the mod. On July 24th, project manager Dean Carter shared a link to the song “I Just Can’t Wait (For Tomorrow)”, which will be featured in the mod, along with a message to players to “Stay safe and watch the space”. This message heralded the confirmation of Fallout London’s release date.
Fallout London will give players a brand new Fallout experience and the opportunity to explore a post-apocalyptic London. The mod will expand on Fallout 4’s existing world and offer players a different perspective. With just one day to go until the mod’s release, excitement is high!
