Nubia’s upcoming model, the Z60 Ultra, is scheduled to be unveiled on December 19th. Leaks so far suggest that the model will come with flagship features, and the latest technical details shared indicate a high-end user experience, particularly in the camera department.
Nubia Z60 Ultra will have OIS support for all three cameras
Nubia recently confirmed through a social media post that the three cameras on the upcoming Nubia Z60 Ultra will all have Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) support. Although the Chinese brand did not disclose the camera resolutions, previous leaks suggest a triple camera module on the back consisting of a 50-megapixel main sensor, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 64-megapixel OmniVision OV64B periscope telephoto sensor.
The device will feature a 6.8-inch OLED display with a resolution of 1.5K and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. Additionally, the phone will use under-display selfie camera technology, and according to rumors, the selfie camera will have a resolution of 16 megapixels.
The smartphone will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor. Qualcomm continues its collaboration with TSMC for the new processor, which is manufactured using 4nm technology. The processor includes one 3.3 GHz ARM Cortex-X4 core, three 3.2 GHz ARM Cortex-A720 cores, two 3.0 GHz ARM Cortex-A720 cores, and two 2.3 GHz ARM Cortex-A520 cores. The new chip also features the Adreno 750 graphics unit with Ray Tracing support.
The Z60 Ultra will include a 6,000 mAh battery that supports 80W fast charging. Additionally, the phone will offer up to 16 GB of LPDDR5x RAM and up to 1 TB of UFS 4.0 storage. Finally, it is worth mentioning that the device will come out of the box with the MyOS interface based on Android 14.
