The Fiat 500, one of Fiat’s most iconic models, was once known as “Topolino” among the public, which translates to “little mouse.” Now, Fiat is reintroducing this name with its new small electric car. The new Fiat Topolino could be an ideal choice for urban use. Fiat Topolino shares the same platform as the Citroen Ami

The Fiat Topolino is based on the Citroen Ami platform. By continuing their collaboration within the Stellantis group, Fiat has taken this partnership to a higher level. Topolino will be the third city car using the same platform, following the Citroen Ami and Opel Rocks-e models.

The Fiat Topolino, which is said to perfectly represent the Italian spirit, has only one photo released for now. However, even this shared photo is enough to see that the new car stands out from its siblings.

Bugatti owners made breathtaking speed attempts at the event held over the weekend. They came close to breaking the world record.

Compared to the Citroen Ami and Opel Rocks Electric, the Fiat Topolino differs significantly in the front section. The car’s design in the front pays homage to the 500 models it takes its name from and sets it apart from its siblings. It is difficult to comment on the rear section of the vehicle, but we expect limited changes in that area.

In the shared image, we see the car without doors. This is probably because we are facing a special version. Citroen also took a similar approach with the My Ami Buggy version. The small electric car also features a folding fabric roof, reminiscent of the original Topolino. Citroen My Ami Buggy

Underneath the vehicle’s body, there will likely be an 8-horsepower electric power unit, similar to the one found in the Citroen Ami. With a 5.5 kWh battery, the Ami offers an approximate range of 75 kilometers. The maximum speed of the car is limited to 45 km/h.

For now, Fiat has not shared more details about its new EV. We hope to learn more about the new small and affordable electric vehicle in the coming days. What are your thoughts on new Fiat EV model? Feel free to share your opinions in the comments section.
