Palworld has gained a huge player base since its release on PC and Xbox earlier this year. Developer Pocket Pair has yet to bring Palworld to PlayStation 5. But there are new signs that the game may soon be coming to Sony’s console.
Palworld may finally be coming to PlayStation 5
The Computer Entertainment Suppliers Association (CESA) has announced a new listing for Palworld. According to a listing prepared by the association, the game will be released for PlayStation 5 as part of Tokyo Game Show 2024. The listing also sees the title expanding to Sony consoles.
Inspired by Pokemon, Palworld allows players to interact with characters called Pals. In this context, it offers players the opportunity to fight for survival and build their own towns. If the game comes to PlayStation 5, it may regain the popularity it has lost recently.
According to Microsoft, Palworld is the biggest third-party title ever on Xbox Game Pass. The game’s unconventional nature seems to have resonated strongly with players. Palworld attracted gamers around the world and demonstrated the importance of bringing different elements together.
Tokyo Game Show 2024 is a major gaming expo held at Sony’s home turf, and could be the ideal time to announce a PlayStation 5 version of Palworld. While there’s no official word from Pocket Pair, the CESA listing is significant.
