Symbolizing a first in Volvo history, the electric truck FM Low Entry has four batteries offering a capacity of 360 kWh and a unit that produces 489 Hp. The vehicle can offer a range of up to 200 kilometers with this battery pack. 200 kilometers is quite short for intercity transportation, but it is quite enough for a truck working in the city on tasks such as excavation, garbage and municipal works.

The vehicle can operate with gross tonnage ranging from 19-32 tons. In addition, like every vehicle participating in the electrification campaign, it also has serious technological innovations. Expectations are high for the model, which will be available in the first quarter of 2024. Volvo aims to ensure that consumers become accustomed to the electrification movement and that half of the vehicles sold will be electric by 2030.
