Next-Generation Ford EVs will be charged with Tesla Superchargers

According to Ford CEO Jim Farley and Tesla CEO Elon Musk, the next-generation Ford electric cars will be equipped with the North American Charging Standard (NACS) port, which is Tesla’s standardized version of the charging system. It means that new Ford EVs will be available to fast-charge in early 2024 with more than 12,000 Tesla Superchargers around North America.

Additionally, the American automaker will keep supporting its “BlueOval” charging network, which is planning to grow another 1,800 DC fast charging stations by early 2024. Thanks to this collaboration, it will be easier to charge the Ford EVs in some regions of the US. However, we are sure that the expansion will keep growing.
