It has been revealed that four new Apple Intelligence features will be integrated into the operating system with Apple’s next major software update, iOS 27. Discovered in Apple’s back-end code by software developer Nicolás Alvarez, these new capabilities aim to make users’ digital experiences smarter and more efficient.
Expected to be introduced at the Worldwide Developers Conference in June and made available in September simultaneously with the new iPhone models, these updates lie at the heart of Apple’s AI strategy. Deeply integrated into system applications, these innovations will provide significant convenience, especially for productivity-oriented users.

Visual Intelligence Capabilities are Expanding
It is known that Apple is particularly working on wearable AI devices. In line with this vision, iOS 27 will increase Visual Intelligence capacity to offer users new scanning options. Users will now be able to transfer the nutritional values of food products directly from their labels to the Health app.
Additionally, phone numbers and addresses on printed documents can be automatically detected by AI and saved to the Contacts list. These features speed up the interaction between the physical world and digital data, eliminating the need for manual data entry.
Other Apps Are Getting Smarter
AI integration will not be limited to Visual Intelligence. In the Safari browser, a feature that automatically names Tab Groups based on the content of open tabs will be implemented. On the other hand, the Apple Wallet app will take on a more advanced form.
Similar to Google Wallet, Apple’s AI will be able to scan documents such as tickets or membership cards and convert them into digital wallet cards. The fact that Apple has added these features to the software code directly aligns with the company’s goal of making Siri a more capable assistant with command over in-app processes.
