The free mod developed for Fallout 4 made a big impact all over the world. The mod called Fallout London was talked about a lot on social media after its release. London, which debuted on GOG with the support of Bethesda, broke a record in just 24 hours.
Fallout London made a big impact on GOG
Developer Team Folon released the mod on digital distributor GOG last week. According to the developer team, it broke the all-time single-day download record on GOG within the first 24 hours. GOG stated that Fallout London was downloaded more than 500 thousand times on the first day.
The Fallout brand has made a big noise recently. The survival series, which first came to the fore with the series broadcast on Amazon Prime Video, is now on the agenda with the free mode. It is even possible to say that old games have been discounted with the series and broken play records.
Fallout London, which takes the Fallout world to post-apocalyptic London, has been in development by Team Folon for years. The mod brings iconic areas of London to the Fallout world. Faced with a huge player base on the day of its release, the production had some technical problems. However, GOG and Team Folon stated that the crashes were not major.
Of course, to play the mode, you need to own Fallout 4 and all its DLCs or the “Game of the Year” version on Steam. You also need the pre-next-gen version (Fallout 4 1.10.163.0).
If you want to play Fallout 4’s new mode, we recommend you not to miss GOG’s campaign
