Fallout: London mode, which breathes new life into the Fallout universe, has been a huge success, surpassing 1 million downloads in just three months. Developed entirely by players over five years, Fallout: London brings the iconic city to a post-apocalyptic setting.

For those who own Fallout 4, the mod is available for free on GOG and offers nearly 90 hours of new content. Players can experience a fully explorable map of London, dozens of missions, new factions and loot. With an expansion pack-sized scope, London has managed to impress players despite not being a commercial project.
GOG also played an important role in the mod’s success. “Supporting creative fan work helps ensure that rich game worlds continue to thrive. By making Fallout: London available on different platforms, we aim to preserve this legacy.”
London mode, launched by the group called Team FOLON in 2017, has been on the agenda of the game world for a while. Hundreds of issues were fixed with the 1.02 update released in October. Post-launch support for the mod is also ongoing.
To continue this success, GOG is holding a Fallout Day sale until October 29, offering discounts of up to 75 percent on games like Fallout 4. In particular, the Fallout 4 GoTY version, which is the only requirement to play London mode for free, has dropped to just $9.99.
