Free Limits Reduced for Gemini 3 and Nano Banana Pro!

Ana sayfa / News

Following the release of its next-generation AI models, the Gemini 3 Pro and Nano Banana Pro, Google began restricting access limits for free users due to high demand. When the Gemini 3 Pro first launched, free users were granted access to up to five requests per day, similar to the limit previously imposed on the Gemini 2.5 Pro. Furthermore, with the Nano Banana Pro, they were limited to using image creation and editing features with a limit of three images per day.

In the last few days, Google has updated its access limits. Free users are now guaranteed “Basic access” when using the “Thinking with 3 Pro” mode, with the caveat that “daily limits may change frequently.” Given general demand trends in the industry, this likely indicates a decrease.

Another change supporting this prediction is Google’s strict restriction of image access for the Nano Banana Pro to two images per day, with the following note: “Demand for image creation and editing is very high. Limits may change frequently and will reset daily.”

Also on Tuesday, NotebookLM “temporarily withdrew access to its new Infographics and Slide Decks features, powered by Nano Banana Pro.” Free users lost access to these features entirely, while Pro users were subject to “additional limits.”

Google explained this as due to excessive demand and capacity constraints:

“We are experiencing some capacity constraints due to high demand… but we plan to get things back to normal as soon as possible!”

It was stated that there have been no changes to the usage limits for Google AI Pro or Ultra subscriptions.
