Fujifilm’s X100V model had become one of the most popular gadgets of the past few years (thanks to TikTok). The company has now released the 40.2-megapixel X100 VI with overall significant improvements. The Fujifilm X100VI model, popularized on TikTok, is winning hearts with its 40-megapixel compact camera. Here are all the features of the popular camera…

While retaining the same retro form, Fujifilm’s new camera offers much faster shooting speeds, in-body stabilization, 6.2K 30p video, and more. It can shoot up to 20fps and supports 6K 30p video. The X100VI looks similar to the previous model, with the same style and control placements.

This series is designed as a street photography camera and borrows many styles from Leica’s famous rangefinder cameras. Therefore, it does not have the best ergonomics in the world, but it is lightweight at 521 grams and can fit into a jacket pocket.

TikTok, Instagram and many big social media giants sued!

Many sauces, such as TikTok, have been sued for disrupting the mental health of young people. Let's take a look at the details.

Fujifilm chose to opt for the same 40.2-megapixel (MP) sensor as the much larger APS-C sensor of the X-H2. This significantly increases the resolution compared to the X100V. This feature is a good choice to offer more cropping options with the wide-angle fixed 23mm f/2.0 lens (35mm full-frame equivalent).

However, this option may reflect slightly as a downside in low-light sensitivity. Another significant innovation in the X100VI is the addition of 5-axis in-body stabilization, providing support for up to 6 stops of shake reduction. Considering the small body of the X100VI, this is an unexpected but well-received feature that will greatly assist street photographers in sudden shots.

The X100V retains the same 3.69 million-dot hybrid optical viewfinder and 1.62 million-dot LCD screen, but the LCD screen can now tilt an extra 15 degrees downward to facilitate shooting from above. It retains the same battery as the previous model. Rated for 300 shots according to CIPA, and unfortunately, it retains the same slow UHS-I card slot.

The X100VI still shoots at 11fps in mechanical shutter and 20fps in electronic mode, but according to Fujifilm, autofocus is faster and more capable. It offers the company’s latest tracking and face/eye detection features, including subject detection in animals/vehicles and other types.

Finally, you don’t usually consider shooting video with this series, but the X100VI has surprisingly become quite capable for a compact camera with a fixed lens. It can shoot 6.2K video at up to 30fps, 4K at 60fps, and 1080p at up to 240fps.
