Peugeot e-408 announced with larger battery
Peugeot, one of the automakers that comes to mind when it comes to electric cars, offers users a larger battery compared to the previous model with the e-408 model. In the range race in the electric car market, where competition is at a high level, the electric 408 on the Peugeot side does not seem to be very successful, but if you are looking for range-oriented, you can take a look at the new e-3008 and e-5008 models. The new e-408 also lags behind its rivals in terms of charging rates. With a maximum charging speed of 120kW, the e-408 offers half the speed of the Kia EV6, which has a charging speed of 240kW.
With its 207 horsepower and 245 nm torque electric motor, it is expected to be faster than the e-308, which can reach 0 to 100 in 9.8 seconds. The e-408, which is also referred to as Fastback Sedan in terms of design, is equipped with modern design and features. The European sales price of the vehicle, which will be introduced at the Paris Motor Show event, is expected to be 43 thousand 900 Euros for the Allure package and 45 thousand 900 Euros for the GT package.
