Galaxy A17 5G support page is live
The official support page for the Galaxy A17 5G is now available on Samsung’s UK and Switzerland websites. Listed with the model number SM-A176B, the smartphone has appeared on the site, although no technical specifications have been shared yet.
This development strongly suggests that the Galaxy A17 5G will be officially unveiled very soon. Based on previous leaks, the device is expected to feature a 5,000 mAh battery with support for 25W fast charging.
Samsung is also reportedly working on a 4G version of the smartphone. In fact, the 4G model was spotted a few months ago in the Geekbench database under the model number SM-A175F. It scored 730 points in the single-core test and 1,982 points in the multi-core test, revealing some key specifications.
The device will be powered by the MediaTek Helio G99 processor. Built on a 6nm architecture, the chipset features 2x 2.2 GHz ARM Cortex-A76 and 6x 2.0 GHz ARM Cortex-A55 cores, along with a Mali-G57 MC2 GPU. It will also come with 4 GB of RAM and run Android 15-based One UI 7 right out of the box.
