Samsung is getting ready to add two new mid-range 5G phones to its lineup. The Galaxy F17 5G and Galaxy M17 5G have now appeared on Geekbench, giving us an early look at their processors, memory setups, and raw performance.
Galaxy F17 5G and Galaxy M17 5G share the same chipset
Leaks confirm that both models run on Samsung’s Exynos 1330, an eight-core processor built on the 5nm process. The chip balances efficiency with solid performance and comes with native 5G support. Paired with 8GB of RAM, it promises smooth day-to-day usage and the speeds expected from a 2025 mid-range device.
Different results despite identical hardware
Even though the two phones share the same core specs, their Geekbench scores show a clear difference. The Galaxy F17 5G outscored its sibling in both single-core and multi-core tests, while the Galaxy M17 5G trailed behind.
