Samsung is preparing to launch its long-awaited foldable phones, Galaxy Fold5, and Galaxy Flip5, soon globally. Although the rumors and leaks about the devices keep revealing, Samsung has officially confirmed the location of the next launch event. According to the President of Samsung DX’s Global Marketing Center, Lee Young-hee, the company will hold the event in Seoul. Here are the details about the Galaxy Fold5 and Flip5 Unpacked event…
Galaxy Fold5 Unpacked will be held in South Korea
Although there are no official details about the date of the Unpacked event, the President of Samsung DX’s Global Marketing Center, Lee Young-hee confirmed that the tech giant will hold its most expected Galaxy Unpacked event in Seoul, South Korea. At the meeting, a reporter asked, “Why are you holding Unpacked in Seoul?”, and Lee Young-hee answered, “Because Korea is meaningful and important.”
It seems that Samsung wants to introduce its upcoming foldables in its country, South Korea. Normally, the company’s Unpack events have been held in New York or San Francisco, but Samsung Electronic will likely to hold the next event as a domestic event.
On the other side, Tae-moon Noh, head (president) of Samsung Electronics’ mobile experience (MX) division, didn’t answer the question, “Where is the Unpack held?”, saying, “Today, I want you to focus only on Ho-Am. I’ll tell you when it’s decided.”
What to expect in Galaxy Fold5 and Flip5 Unpacked event?
Samsung is expected to announce the Galaxy Z Fold5 and Galaxy Z Flip5 foldable phones at the event, alongside with the Galaxy Watch 6 series. According to the claims, the event will be held on July 26 at COEX in Gangnam-Gu, Seoul.
