October 2024 was included in the security updates released regularly every month for Android devices, first by Google and then by Xiaomi and Samsung. The first device to receive the Samsung October 2024 update was also announced. Here are the details…
Galaxy S24 FE received many fixes with the October 2024 update
S24 FE, the Fan Edition model of the Galaxy S24 series introduced in the past weeks, was the first phone to receive the new security update. The update was first released for India, Europe, Africa, and America for the new phone. The update, which will come to our country in the coming days, includes many fixes.
The October 24 update, released with the S721USQS2AXI5 software version for the Galaxy S721 FE, fixes 30 vulnerabilities, 12 of which are only available for Galaxy devices. The package, which is also the first update for the Galaxy S24 FE, only fixes vulnerabilities.
Although Samsung has released a security update, it continues to work on the One UI 7.0 update. The update, which is expected to be announced with the Galaxy S25 series, was recently displayed in beta version. In addition, the One UI 7.0 update will be the first major update for the Galaxy S24 FE.
According to the update notes, it was announced that the package released also repairs vulnerabilities in phones and smartwatches powered by Exynos 9820, 9825, 980, 990, 850, and W920 processors. While 2 of the 30 fixes were marked as critical for Android, the rest were marked as high risk.
