Galaxy S25 and S25 Plus may upset about fast charging!

Ana sayfa / News

Details about Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy S25 and S25 Plus models are starting to emerge. However, there is not much good news for those expecting a major charging speed revolution in these new models. According to recent claims, it is almost certain that Samsung will offer 25W (S25) and 45W (S25 Plus) charging speeds in these models. In other words, there is no difference from the previous models in terms of charging speed. While brands such as Xiaomi and OnePlus offer charging speeds of 90W and above today, Samsung staying at this speed may be disappointing for some users. Here are the details…

Samsung is not increasing the charging speed, nor is it changing the battery capacities. The Galaxy S25 will come with a 4,000mAh battery, the S25 Plus with a 4,900mAh battery, and the S25 Ultra with a 5,000mAh battery. In other words, the battery sizes remain the same as the previous models.

At this point, Samsung could focus on optimizations to increase battery life and efficiency rather than fast charging. However, this could still be a subject of criticism as users want devices that can be charged in a shorter time.

Samsung’s main focus on these models is design. The Galaxy S25 series will be half a millimeter thinner than previous models. In addition, the screen bezels will be significantly thinner, offering a more modern look. These design changes are a positive development, especially for users who care about aesthetics.

However, in the competitive market, charging speed is increasingly prominent. For example, models like the Xiaomi 14 can be fully charged in just 20-30 minutes with 90W charging support. Samsung’s lag in this area may be a shortcoming for users who need to charge quickly, especially under heavy use.
