Last year’s Galaxy S25 Ultra came in two black flavors, but one was locked behind Samsung’s online store. Now, renowned leaker Ice Universe says that’s changing. The all-black model Titanium frame included is tipped to be available through all retail channels with the Galaxy S26 Ultra.
This might not sound groundbreaking, but for those who missed out or refused to jump through Samsung’s hoops, it’s a welcome shift. More importantly, it gives buyers access to a stealthier look without trade-offs or limited availability.
Titanium Jetblack finish may alter the Ultra’s visual footprint
Going fully black has one small catch: perceived bezels. Ice Universe notes that swapping the silver frame for black will “inevitably” make the display bezel look slightly thicker though nothing is actually changing in hardware. It’s an optical illusion that comes with darker finishes. Whether this ends up bothering people remains to be seen.
Still, when compared to the Galaxy S25 Ultra’s Titanium Jetblack edition, which didn’t feel bulky or outdated, the S26 Ultra likely won’t suffer from any real aesthetic downgrade. If anything, it could look sharper more uniform and monolithic.
