Continuing its efforts to increase its share in the foldable phone market, Xiaomi has started the countdown for the Mix Flip 2 model, which has been on the agenda for a long time. The product, which was previously said to be showcased this week, has finally appeared in performance tests.
Xiaomi Mix Flip 2 Geekbench score revealed
Xiaomi Mix Flip 2 appeared in the Geekbench database with the model number 2505APX7BC. The foldable phone managed to get 2,835 points in single-core tests and 8,550 points in multi-core tests. However, some of its technical features have been revealed, albeit indirectly.
The prototype put into Geekbench tests is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite processor. This largely confirms previously shared reports. In addition, it seems that it will take its place on the shelves with 12 GB of RAM. It is important to keep in mind the possibility of different memory options here.
The foldable phone will run the Android 15 operating system right out of the box. At the same time, we can say that it is one of the first models to receive Android 16.
Reports that have emerged so far indicate that the main screen of the model will consist of a 6.85-inch LTPO AMOLED panel, offering approximately 1.5K resolution, and there will be a 4.01-inch and more functional curved auxiliary screen on the outside.
The Mix Flip 2 is expected to offer IPX8 water resistance, 50W wireless charging, and a total battery capacity of approximately 5,050 mAh, with 67W wired fast charging support. The device, which will run on the Android 15-based HyperOS 2.0 operating system on the software side, has a Leica-supported dual camera system: a 50 MP main sensor (1/1.5″ size) and a 50 MP ultra-wide-angle lens.
