The Chinese brand OPPO is making strides to increase its share in the foldable phone market. As part of this effort, the highly anticipated OPPO Find N5 model is set to launch soon. While there hasn’t been much information about the device until now, new details are gradually coming to light.
OPPO Find N5 Clears a Major Milestone on Its Way to a Global Release
The upcoming OPPO Find N5 has appeared in the SIRIM and SDPPI databases. Although these listings don’t reveal much about the technical specifications or promotional details of the device, they indicate that users won’t have to wait much longer for its release.
According to reliable industry sources, the foldable phone will feature a 6.4-inch external display and an 8-inch main screen with 2K resolution. Both panels are expected to support a 120 Hz refresh rate.
The device will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset and feature a 5,700 mAh battery with 80W fast charging support. It will also offer up to 16 GB of RAM and up to 1 TB of internal storage.
On the back, the Find N5 will sport a triple-camera setup, including a 50 MP main sensor, a 50 MP ultra-wide sensor, and a 50 MP telephoto sensor. The resolution of the selfie camera is currently unknown.
The OPPO Find N5 is expected to launch in China in February 2025. Additionally, the foldable phone will likely hit global markets in the first half of 2025 under the name OnePlus Open 2.
