Samsung has officially announced the long-awaited Galaxy Unpacked event, setting the date and location. One of the most important devices to be unveiled at the event is the new foldable Galaxy Z Fold 6. While there have been many leaks about the phone, one of its standout features was expected to be its camera. However, it seems things have changed. Here is the camera feature that will not be included in the Galaxy Z Fold 6.
Galaxy Z Fold 6 will not inherit this camera feature from the S24 Ultra
Announced to be held on July 10th in Paris, the 2024 Galaxy Unpacked event will showcase the Z Fold 6, Z Flip 6, Watch 7, Galaxy Ring, and more. The Z Fold 6 will be the main focus of the event and the most expensive product among those to be introduced. However, according to new reports, the Galaxy Z Fold 6, which was expected to have the camera system of the S24 series, will lack this feature.
While previous leaks suggested the device would come with many changes, recent claims indicate that the Galaxy Z Fold 6 will not see much change compared to the Z Fold 5. Specifically, it may feature the same cameras as its predecessor, contrary to expectations.
If the new reports are accurate, the Fold 6 will not have one of the best camera features of the Galaxy S24 Ultra. In previous models, Samsung offered a 10-megapixel 10x telephoto camera. With the S24 Ultra, this system has been upgraded to a 50-megapixel 5x telephoto camera. This new camera brings many advantages, including the ability to take portrait photos at 1x, 2x, 3x, and 5x zoom levels.
The new camera, which can deliver high-quality photos under the right lighting conditions, may unfortunately not be present in the Fold 6 model. If it shares the same camera system as the Z Fold 5, the new foldable model might not be very popular.
