Expectations regarding the launch date for Samsung’s new generation foldable phone, the Galaxy Z Fold 7, have changed. It is stated that the device, which was previously expected to be announced in the first days of July, will be introduced towards the middle of the month. While it is stated that the delay is short-term, leaked information about the phone continues to attract attention.
Galaxy Z Fold 7 may arrive later than expected
It is reported that the Galaxy Z Fold 7 will have a larger screen and a thinner body than the previous model. In addition to these changes in the design, there are also various improvements in the camera system.
The device will feature Snapdragon 8 Elite on the processor side. With the software optimizations that come into play with this new generation chipset, an improvement in battery performance is expected. However, there has been no increase in battery capacity; the Z Fold 7 will come with a 4400 mAh battery. Therefore, the expected improvement will mostly come from energy efficiency.
There is no development that will satisfy users in terms of price. The Z Fold 6 model was offered for sale with a starting price of $ 1,899. It is stated that the new model will exceed this level. It is thought that even a small increase added to the already high prices could affect consumer decisions.
