Galaxy Z TriFold confirmed as Samsung’s triple-folding flagship

Ana sayfa / News

Samsung’s upcoming foldable won’t be launching under a new line after all. Instead, it’s officially joining the Z family as the Galaxy Z TriFold, marking Samsung’s first foray into triple-folding devices.

Leaked specs suggest Samsung is positioning the Z TriFold to directly challenge rivals like the Huawei Mate XTs. With a launch set for December 5, 2025, the TriFold becomes the first true triple-hinge tablet from a major brand, at least, the first to reach shelves outside of prototypes. Despite earlier whispers of a “Galaxy G Fold,” Samsung is keeping its naming within familiar territory.

Samsung Zero-Day Forces CISA Emergency Patch Order

CISA orders agencies to fix a Samsung zero-day flaw exploited via WhatsApp to install LandFall spyware on Android 13+ devices.

Samsung’s triple-folding screen will open into a 10-inch AMOLED display, while a 6.5-inch cover display handles regular phone duties. Brightness levels look competitive: 1,600 nits for the main panel and a dazzling 2,600 nits for the cover screen.

When folded, the tablet’s thickness ranges slightly. According to the leak, it’s 3.9 mm at its thinnest and 4.2 mm at the thickest edge. For a device with two hinges, that’s impressively compact.

Under the hood, Samsung is expected to use a high-end Snapdragon processor, though the specific chip hasn’t been nailed down. The safe bet is on the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 “Elite”, which would keep it in flagship territory for 2025.

Other key details include a 200 MP main camera, likely repurposed from Samsung’s Ultra series. Meanwhile, battery specs show a slight adjustment from previous leaks.

A Chinese source previously pegged the TriFold’s battery at 5,600 mAh, but tipster Evan Blass says the rated (usable) capacity is 5,437 mAh. That’s a small difference, but worth noting for buyers who compare specs down to the decimal.

If this leak holds, the TriFold isn’t just a new gadget, it’s a signal. Samsung seems ready to push foldables further into tablet territory, combining ultra-slim design with powerful internals and bright, responsive screens. Here’s what stands out so far:

The Galaxy Z TriFold isn’t just folding once or twice; it’s flipping the script.
