The subscription-based GeForce Now service offered by NVIDIA allows gamers to access a high-performance computer remotely, enabling them to play high-graphic games even with systems with low technical specifications.
GeForce Now, which has millions of users from all over the world, including Turkey, will soon receive a significant update. Now, ads will be displayed during the use of the service. So, how long will the NVIDIA ad duration be and when will it be shown? Here are all the details…
The era of ads in GeForce Now!
In recent years, many service providers have started showing ads to users in order to earn more money. While streaming platforms such as Netflix and Disney+ have adopted this practice, GeForce Now is now joining them.
In a recent statement made by NVIDIA spokesperson Stephanie Ngo, it was stated, “Free users will start seeing ads for up to two minutes while waiting in the queue to start a gaming session.”
According to the statement, only Basic users who provide free access will encounter ads. While these ads will be shown during the session waiting time, their duration will be a maximum of 2 minutes. Ads will be activated as of February 28th (Wednesday). The company has started sending informational emails to its users regarding this.
