Nvidia, one of the first names that comes to mind when it comes to graphics cards, continues to make a name for itself with its “Island” series. The company, which has been working overtime on more powerful versions of RTX 4080, RTX 4070 and RTX 4070 Ti cards, is making the final touches for the Nvidia GeForce RTX 40 SUPER.
GeForce RTX 4080 SUPER will have 20 GB of memory based on AD102
Leaks about the Nvidia GeForce RTX 40 SUPER series have proliferated recently. The latest report came from a source named BenchLife. According to this, the RTX 4080 SUPER will be equipped with AD102-based 20 GB Memory. The upgrade will allow for a wider 320-bit memory bus.
The upgrades mentioned are as follows;
- GeForce RTX 4080 → GeForce RTX 4080 SUPER
- GPU AD103 → AD102
- Memory 16GB → 20GB
- Bus 256 bit → 320 bit
- GeForce RTX 4070 → GeForce RTX 4070 SUPER
- GPU AD104 → AD103
- Memory 12GB → 16GB (?)
- Data bus: 192 bit → 256 bit (?)
On the other hand, according to earlier rumors, the SUPER family will include three different cards: RTX 4080 SUPER, RTX 4070 Ti SUPER and RTX 4070 SUPER. While there is currently no official information on the release dates and specs of the new cards, users won’t have to wait too long for the announcement. According to the allegations, there may be critical developments on the subject in 2024.
