Developed by Sucker Punch Productions, Ghost of Tsushima was released for PlayStation in 2020 and PC gamers have been eagerly awaiting it ever since. There are strong rumors that Sony Interactive Entertainment will announce Ghost of Tsushima for PC very soon.
Sony may make Ghost of Tsushima PC announcement very soon
Unlike Sony’s other first-party single-player games, the game, which quickly gained a huge fan base among PlayStation gamers, has never been officially confirmed for PC. So PC gamers are eagerly awaiting the game with great anticipation.
Rumor has it that an announcement regarding the PC version of Ghost of Tsushima may be coming soon. Coming from a reliable source like Nick “Shpeshal_Nick” Baker, rumors like these are usually true. Therefore, there is a high probability that this latest rumor will also come true.
Nick thinks that the announcement “will come on the 5th”. It is not known whether he means March 5th or May, the 5th month of the year. However, since he said soon, it is thought to be March 5th.
Sony has recently made clear its intentions to expand the PlayStation platform. Hiroki Totoki, one of the company’s executives, has stated that PlayStation wants to adopt a strategy of rapidly multiplatforming its first-party titles.
In particular, Totoki emphasized that PC ports will be an important part of this strategy. This statement further fueled rumors of a PC version of Ghost of Tsushima.
“In the past, we wanted to popularize consoles, and the main purpose of a first-party game was to popularize the console,” Totoki said. However, he said that the company has now changed this approach and that strong first-party content should not only be available on its own console, but also on other platforms.
