China’s Xinjiekou International Cinema, located in Nanjing Deji Plaza, introduced the world’s first acoustically transparent LED cinema screen. What is acoustic transparent cinema LED screen?
Unveiled at the Xinjiekou International Cinema, this revolutionary LED screen was developed by LED pioneer Unilumin. The screen is the first of its kind to receive DCI (Digital Cinema Initiatives) certification. This screen, which is 20.48 meters wide and 10.8 meters high, offers an image at 4K96 frame rate and 300 nits brightness level using the UCine LED film projection system. This technology provides extremely clear, smooth and stable image quality.
In addition to delivering visual excellence, the display also receives TÜV low blue light certification, reducing harmful blue light emissions to protect viewers’ eyes.
The display’s unique module punch-out design integrates the main audio channel speakers behind the display, creating an optimal sound cavity using the structure of the LED box. This ensures excellent sound resonance within the cinema, providing an acoustically transparent sound experience. Since the LED screen does not require a special projection room, it saves significant space in the room.
Unilumin Group offers LED cinema screens in sizes ranging from 5 to 20 meters and stands out as the first Chinese company to receive international DCI certification.
