Asus announced important products at CES 2023. These included the Vivobook Pro, Zenbook 14 X, Zenbook Pro 16X OLED, and ProArt StudioBook 16 3D OLED, a glasses-free 3D laptop. After Acer, Asus joined the glasses-free 3D laptop market.
Asus’s the world’s first glasses-free 3D OLED display
Asus introduced the ProArt StudioBook 16 3D OLED model at CES 2023, which features a 16-inch OLED display with 3.2K resolution. The glasses-free 3D feature on this screen is called Spatial Vision. The company uses eye tracking and a special lens layer to present the 3D experience without glasses. This allows the product to create images with depth and thus offers an impressive experience. This isn’t the only Asus model to offer glasses-free 3D.
The company is also including this feature in a VivoBook Pro model. The new models also feature next-generation Intel processors and Nvidia graphics cards. In this way, the new models offer high performance. Asus also had other recent announcements at CES 2023. For example, the company made noise with the Zenbook Pro 16X OLED with very high cooling performance.
It is powered by 13th-generation Intel Core processors and Nvidia RTX 40 series graphics cards. The laptop can be equipped with 32 GB LPDDR5X DRAM at the top. Asus designed the keyboard part of the model to be movable and offers a comfortable typing experience with the keyboard that lifts up. This keyboard moves depending on the screen.
Among Asus‘ CES 2023 announcements the Zenbook 14X OLED, which makes a difference with its ceramic coating, was also included. Using a technique called “plasma electrolytic oxidation”, Asus says this optional coating is fingerprint-resistant and scratch-resistant. The company also announced a Chromebook model that focuses directly on cloud gaming at CES 2023. Net prices of the new laptop models, including the glasses-free 3D models prepared by Asus, are not yet announced.
