God of War Ragnarök launches November 9
God of War Ragnarök will arrive on PS5 and PS4 on November 9. Santa Monica ceases the rumors and marks on the calendar the most awaited date by the followers of Kratos. The Company also released a new trailer for the game. (don’t expect new gameplay, it’s a CGI trailer)
The new trailer doesn’t reveal much that we’ve not seen before. Kratos and Atreus are returning to battle the gods and monsters of Norse mythology. The scenes on show in the trailer look remarkably similar to what we played through in the previous God of War game in 2018.
Ragnarök was previously confirmed to be releasing in early 2022 for PS4 and PS5 but, because of the pandemic it delayed several times. Sony and Santa Monica Studio also unveiled a variety of editions for new God of War.
There will be four versions of Ragnarok available for purchase. Standard, Digital Deluxe, Collector’s, and Jotnar editions. Almost all include access to both the PS4 and PS5 versions of the game, but if you buy the standard PS4 edition, you’ll have the option of a $10 upgrade to get the PS5 version.
