Norman Reedus and Melissa McBride, stars and executive producers of the hit series set in The Walking Dead universe, confirmed the start of filming for the new season in a video from the set. It turns out that the highly anticipated third season will be set in Madrid. However, filming will also take place in Galicia, Aragon, Catalonia and Valencia.
David Zabel, executive producer of The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon, said of the anticipated new season: “As we await the show’s return for a new season, we are thrilled to be back on set with Norman, Melissa and this amazing cast, as well as the amazing local team in Spain whose experience and creative vision are key to bringing these landscapes to the world. The highly anticipated third season of Daryl Dixon, airing next year on AMC and AMC+, will follow Daryl Dixon (Reedus) and Carol Peletier (McBride) as they continue their journey to return home to the people they love. The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon – The Book of Carol will air as a double episode on September 29. The exciting 3rd season of the series will meet its audience in 2025.
