Ana sayfa / News

The highly anticipated sequel to The Batman series, The Batman 2, has finally accelerated filming and entered the casting process. After several delays due to script issues, production is reportedly getting back on track. According to the latest reports, a key figure is joining the cast of The Batman 2: former Marvel actress Scarlett Johansson.

Johansson, who played Black Widow in the Marvel Cinematic Universe for many years, is in the final stages of a deal with DC Films. While no official contract has been signed yet, negotiations are reportedly nearing completion.

Which character Johansson will portray in this film remains unclear. However, the addition of one of Hollywood’s leading stars demonstrates the pivotal role her role holds for the story.

Familiar faces from the original will return for the sequel. Robert Pattinson will reprise his iconic role as Bruce Wayne/Batman. He will be joined by Colin Farrell (The Penguin), Andy Serkis (Alfred), and Jeffrey Wright (Commissioner Gordon).

It has also been confirmed that Zoe Kravitz, who played Catwoman, one of the main characters in the first film, will not appear in this sequel. Kravitz’s character will not be a part of The Batman 2.

Details about the story of the film, which is set to begin filming in the early months of next year, are limited. According to industry rumors, the main villain of the film will be neither the Penguin nor the Joker. Rumors suggest that the story will focus on a different antagonist not seen in the first film, with ties to Arkham Asylum.
