Today, marks a historic day in Bard’s journey. We are thrilled to announce that Bard is now available in most parts of the world, supporting the most widely spoken languages. But that’s not all. We’re also rolling out a host of new features designed to enhance your experience, stimulate your creativity, and promote productivity.

Unlocking the Power of Imagination with Bard

At the heart of Bard lies the conviction that our ability to envisage new possibilities is among the most profound human attributes. Bard was designed to feed this curiosity, augment your imagination, and help give wings to your ideas. By answering and building on your questions, Bard seeks to be the wind beneath your ideas’ wings.

Beginning today, you can listen to Bard’s responses in over 40 languages. This feature is particularly useful for correct pronunciation or audibly experiencing a poem or script. All you need to do is input a prompt and click the sound icon to hear Bard’s responses.

We now provide you the opportunity to tailor Bard’s responses as per your preference. Choose from five different tones and styles – simple, long, short, professional, or casual. This feature is currently live in English and will be introduced to other languages shortly.

We have heard your requests to be able to revisit prompts. In response, we’re introducing new ways to pin and rename your conversations with Bard. Once you initiate a conversation, you’ll see options to pin, rename, and pick up recent conversations from the sidebar. This feature is now available in over 40 languages.

As announced at I/O, Lens’ power will soon be integrated into Bard. Bard currently includes visuals in responses. For instance, when you ask, “Where should I visit in Washington, D.C.?”, Bard provides visual suggestions along with text. Now, you can also include images in your Bard prompts. Lens will work behind the scenes to assist Bard in understanding the image. Whether you seek more information about an image or need inspiration for image-related text, you can upload images along with prompts for Bard to analyze. This feature is currently live in English, with other languages to follow soon.

Sharing Bard chats has never been easier. With our new shareable links, you can easily share your ideas and creations with others. This feature is now available in over 40 languages.

In addition to Google Colab, we’re adding a new feature allowing you to export Python code to Replit. This feature is now live in over 40 languages.
