Android 14 QPR3 Beta 1 update comes with new features
Google has released a new beta version for Pixel devices. The update comes with the build number AP21.240119.009 and Play Services version 23.50.14. Moreover, Google has added the February security patches in the update. Also, it is now available for all supported Pixel devices, from Pixel 5a to 8 Pro. If you would like to install the update, it is available as an over-the-air (OTA) update to QPR3 Beta 1.

- Easter Egg Update: The Android 14 logo is now enclosed by a triangle, suggesting Android 15’s internal dessert name “Vanilla Ice Cream.”

- Touch Sensitivity Settings: The Screen protector mode has been relocated to a submenu labeled “touch sensitivity.”
- Adaptive Touch Mode is being developed to adjust touch sensitivity based on the environment.
- Easy Pre-set Mode is designed to simplify the Android UI.
- Swipe Up to Continue feature is introduced for Pixel Fold users to seamlessly transition from the cover screen to using an app.
- Chat Bubble UI Revamp is planned for tablets.
- Developer Option permits swapping the current kernel with one utilizing a 16K page size.
- Media Processing Service Type is a potential addition in Android 15.
