According to The Information, Google is working on a new AI project that will enable you to chat with celebrities, YouTubers, or fictional copy characters you create (including yourself). In other words, you will feel like you are actually talking to someone while chatting with a copy of a relative.
So how will the AI create our copy? Google will ask users to define their personalities and appearances to create their copies. The more you confide in your copy, the more information it will have. The more photos you provide, the more it will resemble you. However, knowing that all this information will be processed by Google can be quite unsettling. Don’t be surprised if one day Google shows you an ad to solve a problem you mentioned to your copy.
Google plans to integrate this project into YouTube rather than launching it as an independent product. This way, YouTube content creators can produce their own AI copies and interact more with their viewers. For example, you will be able to chat with MrBeast’s AI bot to learn more about him. This approach will also benefit Google, as it will encourage users to return to YouTube more frequently, reaching a larger audience and generating more revenue from advertisements.
Although the project’s release date has not yet been determined, it is expected that this chatbot platform will be tested on the Google Labs page first. Google showcases various experimental tools and projects there, and this new AI chatbot project will be added to them.
