Since the introduction of ChatGPT into our lives, the progress of artificial intelligence has been witnessed by the whole world. Many major companies have accelerated their AI research efforts following the success demonstrated by the conversational AI system developed by OpenAI. One of these companies is, of course, Google.
Google Bard will now excel in math calculations.
Google made a swift entry into the field of artificial intelligence with its conversational robot named Bard and continues to improve the system day by day. Google CEO Sundar Pichai announced in a recent post that Bard will now be much more talented.
Sundar Pichai stated in his announcement that Bard has been updated with a new technique called implicit code execution. Through this, the AI-powered conversational robot will run code in the background when it detects calculation requests, increasing the accuracy of word and math problems by approximately 30 percent.
With the new update, the artificial intelligence system has become even more capable. The goal is for Bard to provide the most accurate answers not only in verbal responses but also in mathematical operations.
Bard claims to provide more accurate and up-to-date information with its direct access to the internet. It had previously gained visual support as well. In a recent announcement, the chatbot became capable of presenting visual results obtained from Google search to its users.
Since its introduction, Google Bard has been continuously evolving. By utilizing Google’s Pretraining and Auxiliary Language Modeling (PaLM), Bard strengthens its position against ChatGPT with new features.
With the recent developments, Google Bard has gained significant advantages over ChatGPT. Now the question remains whether this will reflect in user numbers. What are your thoughts on Google Bard’s mastery of maths? Feel free to share your opinions in the comments section.
