New Android Auto comes with key features from Android

The new UI comes with a few key features like a split-screen app for navigation, content playback, and more.
In addition to these features, Google brings also a new HD version of its Maps app for cars. The new HD maps app will offer more detailed road markings, lane-level localization, road barriers, and signs. The first steps for the new UI coming from Volvo and Polestar. According to the announcements, Volvo EX90 and Polestar 3 EVs owners can use the new features.
Additionally, Google says that the new Android Auto was released to everyone starting that day. One of the most significant functions of the new Android Auto is the ability to share your digital car key with friends and family. Thanks to the improved UI, you can now share access to your car with your trusted friends and family on your Pixel and iPhone. The Key Sharing feature is coming soon to Samsung and Xiaomi phones.

- With the recently announced 2023 Accord Touring model, Honda joins a growing list of brands offering cars with Google built-in that includes Volvo Cars, Polestar, Chevrolet, GMC, Cadillac and Renault.
