Google Chrome is stepping up its security measures!

Ana sayfa / News

The popular Google Chrome application is receiving a comprehensive security update. The application aims to enhance its Safe Browsing feature to provide a better internet experience for its millions of users worldwide.

Google management, announcing that the feature is already active on over 5 billion devices, aims to increase this number even further. They state that they have been analyzing recent cases of fraud and scams on online platforms and are implementing a series of new security measures. Here are the key details…

Previously, Chrome listed websites it considered potentially dangerous within 30 minutes to 1 hour. Now, it aims to reduce this time to under 10 minutes. This decision comes as some malicious sites have been active for only about 10 minutes, making tracking them considerably more difficult. Google engineers have decided to address this issue, aiming to reduce fraudulent activities by 25%.

With the application now updating its list of dangerous websites much more quickly, it will be able to intervene in problematic cases promptly. This improvement is attributed to Google’s establishment of a separate server for the Safe Browsing feature.

The date for Google I/O 2024 has been announced!

Google I/O 2024 conference, which is eagerly awaited by technology enthusiasts, has officially been announced to start on May 14th.

Previously, managing this feature required much more time as it was done through users’ computers. This update will be available for Android devices next month. These developments have been well-received by users concerned about security.
